Can I use it with no Korean at all?
If you can read the Hangul alphabet, yes. The lowest-level picture books are a few sentences long, and since you can tap any word to see its meaning, no prior vocabulary is needed.
Which languages are meanings available in?
Turkish, English, Vietnamese, Thai and Indonesian. The app interface is available in the same five languages.
Do I need an internet connection?
The books ship with the app; there is nothing to download. Dictionary look-ups, earning gold in games and syncing your progress across devices need a connection.
Is Premium required?
No. You can use the free books, the dictionary and the review cards as much as you like. Premium removes the gold-or-ad step at page turns in paid books, turns ads off completely and makes the games available offline.
Do I have to create an account?
No, you can start without signing up. When you create an account, your reading progress and word list sync across your devices.

Gumiho does no ad tracking and does not share your data with third parties. See our privacy policy for details.
Is there an Android version?
Gumiho is currently available on iPhone and iPad. We are working on an Android version and will announce it here and in the app when it is ready.
